Getting Started

1. Create a new user account by selecting the "New User" link on the Sign In Form.  Be sure to use a valid Email address for your user ID. All route recommendations are forwarded by Email to this address.

 

2. After Log-In, the introductory screen is displayed.  Follow the instructions on this page to get a route recommendation.  To manipulate the various pages of the application use the Navigation Bar (illustrated).

Buttons which are grayed out indicate a program feature which is not available in this version.

3. Select the "Start Routing" link and enter ETD from the Start Point. About 30 minutes after pressing the "Submit" button you will receive the route recommendation by email. This recommendation consists of an Email containing text similar to the following:

WE RECOMMEND YOU SEND ONLY TO YOURSELF UNTIL CONFIDENT OF PROGRAM OPERATION

 

Dear Captain:

This is a Least Time Track (LTT) route recommendation initiated by
YourName@YourDomain.com from BERGEN to DALHOUSIE for ETD 101405 1300 Z . Please contact Yourname@YourDomain.com regarding this email or to request further route updates. Route forecast is attached in MS Excel file format. To optimize passage performance, route updates are recommended at least every 48 hours.

THIS MESSAGE IS GENERAL WEATHER ROUTING ADVICE. IT IS NOT A PASSAGE PLAN AND WAYPOINTS SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR NAVIGATION. NOTHING IN THIS MESSAGE SHALL SUPERSEDE THE MASTERS ULTIMATE AUTHORITY AND RESPONSIBILITY FOR ROUTING DECISIONS.
